About Us

The Reef Rescue Network is a Caribbean-wide alliance to fight back against climate change and coral disease by planting new corals in a scientifically sound way. Launched in 2017 by the Perry Institute for Marine Science – a non-profit science organization that has trailblazed ocean research, conservation and education for more than 50 years – the Network is among the largest coral restoration initiatives in the Caribbean, spanning 14 islands and growing nearly 8,000 corals! At its core, the Reef Rescue Network aims to amplify coral restoration efforts in the region, engaging recreational divers, small businesses, conservation NGOs, citizen scientists and more.
